Principal Core Plus Bond R5 (PBMPX - Free Report) seeks to offer a high level of income and capital. The fund invests a large chunk of its assets in debt securities, including bonds. PBMPX aims to maintain an average portfolio period, which ranges between 75% and 125% of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index’s maturity duration. As of Dec 31, 2016 the average portfolio duration of the fund is 5.89 years. Principal Core Plus Bond R5 has returned 1.3% over the last one-year period.

As of February 2018, PBMPX held 1,798 issues with 2.18% of its assets invested in ICE CREDIT DEFAULT SWAP.

Principal LargeCap Value A  invests a major part of its assets in equity securities of large-cap companies, which are included on the Russell 1000 Value Index.
