•    Online retailer of diamonds and fine jewelry Blue Nile Inc. (NASDAQ:NILE - Snapshot Report) reported its fourth-quarter earnings results and revenue that fell short of estimates

•    Share prices of Advanced America Cash Advance Centers Inc. (NYSE:AEA)  surged 31.98% to close at $10.44 after Mexican company Grupo Elektra agreed to purchase Advanced America in a deal worth $780 million
