American Science and Engineering, Inc. is engaged in developing, deploying, and supporting X-ray systems, AS&E's cargo, parcel, and personnel inspection systems. AS&E X-ray inspection systems are used by governments and corporations to combat terrorism, drug and weapons smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud. These X-ray systems are deployed at ports and borders, and military and high-threat facilities. American Science and Engineering, Inc. is headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts.
