Company Description
Baldwin & Lyons markets casualty insurance for the trucking industry. Its principal subsidiary, Protective Insurance Co., provides coverage for large trucking fleets that retain substantial amounts of self-insurance. Medium-sized trucking companies and individual owner-operators are served by another subsidiary, Sagamore Insurance Co. The company markets its policies directly to trucking clients nationwide. It also provides claims handling, loss control, and other insurance-related services to the trucking industry.
