Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is a leading operator and consolidator in the highly fragmented automotive retailing industry.  Through a series of acquisitions, the company owns dealership franchises.  Through the dealerships, the company sells new and used cars and light trucks, provide maintenance and repair services, sell replacement parts and arrange vehicle financing, insurance and service contracts.
