            Company Description
        
Hillshire Brands Company manufactures and markets food solutions for the retail and foodservice markets. The Company's portfolio includes brands such as Jimmy Dean, Ball Park, Hillshire Farm, State Fair, Sara Lee frozen bakery and Chef Pierre pies, and artisanal brands Aidells and Gallo Salame. It's packaged meat products include hot dogs and corn dogs, breakfast sausages, sandwiches and bowls, smoked and dinner sausages, premium deli and luncheon meats, bacon, beef, turkey, and cooked ham. It also offers frozen baked products, which comprise frozen pies, cakes, cheesecakes, pastries, and bakery and dough products, including bread, buns, rolls, specialty bread, refrigerated dough, and frozen desserts. Hillshire Brands Company, formerly known as Sara Lee Corporation, is based in Downers Grove, Illinois.
