NextEra Energy, Inc., formerly known as FPL Group, Inc., is a renewable energy provider in the United States. NextEra Energy Resources, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, Inc., produces energy from the wind and the sun, with a very low greenhouse gas emissions rate. It operates clean, emissions-free nuclear power generation facilities in New Hampshire, Iowa and Wisconsin as part of the NextEra Energy nuclear fleet. NextEra Energy sells the output to utilities, retail electricity providers, power co-operatives, municipal electric providers and industrial companies. NextEra Energy, Inc. is based in Juno Beach, Florida.
