Buy These Top AI Stocks for Higher Highs: HPE, NVDA, TSM
Artificial intelligence stocks remain among the market's strongest performers, with several industry leaders recently pushing to new 52-week highs.
While there can often be reluctance to buy a stock near its highs, these top-rated AI stocks look poised for more upside based on a trend of positive earnings estimate revisions, reinforcing their AI-driven growth outlooks.
Nvidia (NVDA - Free Report) ) stock has climbed to another record high as extraordinary demand for its GPUs and accelerated computing platforms continues to fuel AI infrastructure spending. NVDA's momentum has also been supported by its recently expanded $235 billion share-repurchase authorization and expectations for another year of explosive growth.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate calls for Nvidia to post current fiscal 2027 revenue and earnings growth of 88% and 94%, respectively, while FY28 sales and EPS are projected to jump another 65% and 68%.
Encouragingly, FY27 EPS estimates are up 4% in the last 60 days, while FY28 estimates have surged 23%, including a 1% increase in the last week from $15.33 to $15.53.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) ) has been one of the market's hottest AI infrastructure stocks, recently reaching a new all-time high as demand strengthens across AI servers, networking, and hybrid cloud. The integration of Juniper Networks is expanding HPE's networking presence, while AI systems backlog and large hyperscaler deals are providing greater revenue visibility.
Management raised its fiscal 2026 revenue growth outlook to 34%-37% and non-GAAP EPS guidance to $3.75-$3.85 (+93% growth). Looking ahead to FY27, HPE expects revenue to rise another 13%-17%, with adjusted EPS projected to grow 16%-20%.
Reflecting this improving outlook, consensus FY26 and FY27 EPS estimates have risen more than 15% in the last 60 days. HPE is now expected to post 96% EPS growth this year, while FY27 earnings are projected to increase another 22% to $4.64 per share, exceeding the high end of management's current EPS growth framework.
Notably, in the summer, I chose HPE as my choice for a stock to potentially double over the next year when it was at around $48 a share, with shares now up 45% since then.
Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM - Free Report) ) stock is also hovering near a fresh 52-week high as booming demand for advanced chips used in AI accelerators continues to drive utilization of its leading-edge manufacturing capacity.
Shares have surged roughly 60% year to date, with TSMC remaining a critical manufacturing partner for many of the world's largest AI chip developers, including Nvidia.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate projects fiscal 2026 revenue growth of 37% and EPS growth of 55%, followed by another 32% increase in sales and 29% earnings growth next year. Earnings estimates remain on the rise as well, with it noteworthy that the FY27 EPS estimate has increased over 1% in the past month from $21.09 to $21.33.

Bottom Line
NVDA, HPE, and TSM are trading near the top of their 52-week ranges for good reason. Each remains deeply leveraged to accelerating AI infrastructure investment, while strong growth projections and positive earnings estimate revisions suggest these top-ranked AI stocks could have room to make higher highs.
