Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. recently announced that it has promoted three of its executives. The promotions have been made to new leadership roles created in the company’s U.S. networks business. The move is expected to further boost the company’s robust performance this year.
New Appointees
The company has appointed Allison Page as the General Manager of U.S. Programming and Development to oversee the programming teams of the company’s six networks in the country. Page has spent 12 years in programming positions at Food Networks before joining HGTV and DIY Network in 2013. She has been credited with the success of HGTV – one of the biggest cable networks in the U.S. In her new capacity, Page will be responsible for the programming of Food Network and Cooking Channel in addition to her current portfolio which includes HGTV, Travel Channel, DIY Network and Great American Country.
This apart, Julie Taylor has been selected as the Senior Vice President of Program Planning & Strategy of U.S. Networks. She will be responsible for the scheduling teams across the company’s six networks. Taylor currently leads the scheduling teams for HGTV, Travel Channel, DIY Network and Great American Country. Notably, Taylor has an experience of over 13 years in senior scheduling positions across HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country.
In addition, the company has designated Shannon Jamieson Driver to the position of General Manager, U.S. Brand Marketing. Notably, Driver is already leading marketing efforts across the company’s six networks. Driver has spent almost 12 years at the company.
