Our Viewpoint on Franklin

November saw a slight decline in BEN’s total AUM, driven by flat long-term flows and outflows at Western Asset Management, partially offset by modest gains in alternative and multi-asset categories. Equity, fixed income, and cash balances softened, reflecting near-term flow pressures. Nevertheless, Franklin’s ongoing inorganic initiatives and strategic partnerships continue to position the firm for long-term growth despite near-term fluctuations in flows.
