On the cost side, adjusted selling, general and administrative (SG&A) expenses totaled $403.5 million, which increased from $383.7 million in the prior-year period. Adjusted SG&A expenses as a percentage of sales increased 130 basis points to 44.7% from 43.4% a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA reached $104.3 million, declining 0.5% from $104.8 million in the prior-year period. Adjusted EBITDA margin declined 40 basis points to 11.5% from 11.9% in the prior-year period.
