Segmental Performance of Textron

Textron Aviation: Revenues from this segment increased 14% year over year to $1.7 billion. This was primarily due to higher volume and mix, largely reflecting higher Citation jet volume, partially offset by lower commercial turboprop volume.

Its order backlog at the end of the quarter totaled $7.6 billion.

Textron Systems: This segment’s revenues amounted to $360 million, up $50 million from the prior-year level.
