•Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) removed US Steel (NYSE:X) from its Conviction Buy List, but maintained a "buy" rating on the shares, setting a price target of $73

•Susquehanna maintained a positive rating on Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), raising the price target by $25 to $325. Apple is widely expected to unveil its next-generation iPhone on Monday

•FBR lifted price target for railroad firms on continuing volume strength. Price targets were issued on Norfolk and Southern (NYSE:NSC) at $70, on CSX (NYSE:CSX) at $68; Kansas City Southern (NYSE:KSU) at $66

•Piper Jaffray (NYSE:PJC) began coverage of Varian Medical (NYSE:VAR) with an "overweight" rating and a price target of $59

•FBR maintained its "outperform" rating on Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), lifting its price target by $1 to $249

•Benchmark initiated coverage of Oshkosh (NYSE:OSK) with a "buy" rating and a price target of $45
