Compuware Extends Netmagic Agreement

Compuware Corporation ( CPWR - Analyst Report ) recently announced the extension of its Application Performance Management (APM) partnership with Netmagic Solution.

Based in India, Netmagic Solutions provides managed IT hosting services along with cloud infrastructure. The company serves more than 1200 customers on a global basis.
As a result of this partnership extension, Netmagic will now offer APM products, namely Gomez, from Compuware. These products will be offered to its customers in a pay-as-you-use service model as part of the company's existing Managed Services Portfolio (MSP) offering.
Compuware Gomez is the software as a service (“SaaS”) solution suite in Compuware APM. Gomez SaaS enables companies to optimize their performance by deploying web, mobile, streaming and cloud applications.
Gomez SaaS integrates real-user and synthetic monitoring, providing enhanced end-user experience. Gomez possesses a 360-degree web load testing feature, which can effectively detect performance issues, quantifies the impact on end-user experience and business results and isolates performance problems down to the exact line of code.
Consequently, Netmagic will now enable enterprises track end-user experience, measure application performance and baseline performance over time. The WebSmart service will also help recognize application performance problems and resolve performance issues.
Compuware’s software solutions consist of four major families: APM, Mainframe, Changepoint and Uniface. These solutions are used by IT organizations and IT service providers. Compuware also offers implementation, consulting and training services along with a broad range of professional services and application services.
APM includes Gomez SaaS subscription fees and dynaTrace Enterprise solutions. The SaaS solutions are designed to test and monitor the performance, availability and quality of companies’ web and mobile applications.
In the rapidly changing technological world, Compuware solutions empower customers to drive revenue, brand equity and customer satisfaction by harnessing innovative technologies like cloud computing, virtualization and mobile computing.
High demand for enterprise business applications is likely to propel Compuware’s growth.
