Fund Description
American Century Equity Growth, Investor Class was incepted in May 1991 and is managed by American Century Investment Management. The objective of the fund is to seek capital appreciation by investing in common stocks. The fund invests in securities from the 1,500 largest publicly traded U.S. companies. The fund also invests in equity securities of smaller capitalization U.S. companies and the fund may invest in foreign securities as well. The fund manager strives to provide a total return greater than that of the S&P 500 index. The fund offers dividends quarterly and capital gains twice a year in March and December.
