Fund Description

The fund generally invests in large-cap companies it believes show sustainable business improvement, using a proprietary multi-factor model that assigns each security a financial metrics score and an ESG score, combined equally into an overall score. Financial factors may include price-to-earnings and price-to-cash flow ratios, earnings and cash flow growth, changes in earnings estimates, and price momentum. ESG scores use internal research and third-party data across environmental, social, and governance metrics; if an ESG score is unavailable or incomplete, a security may still be selected if the portfolio managers believe they can evaluate it qualitatively, and qualitative review may include examining company-provided information and engagement with company management. Scores are evaluated by sector, seeking the strongest in each sector. Under normal conditions, at least 80% of net assets are in sustainable equity securities; foreign issuers may be included.
