Fund Description

The fund seeks opportunities in companies undergoing "Positive Dynamic Change," defined as High Unit Volume Growth (such as rapidly growing demand or market dominance) or Positive Lifecycle Change (such as benefiting from new regulations, product innovation, or new management). Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of net assets plus borrowings in equity securities of mid-cap companies, including U.S. or foreign listed common or preferred stocks, and may hold issuers that grow beyond mid-cap ranges. Under normal market conditions, it invests at least 25% of total assets in Health Care Equipment & Supplies, Health Care Technology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences Tools & Services, and/or Software, and may have 25% or more in a single industry. As a focus fund, it generally will own approximately 50 holdings and may trade actively; it can invest in foreign securities and may hold cash and equivalents up to 15%.
