Fund Description

The fund was incepted in September 1994 and is managed by A I M Advisors. The fund seeks above-average long-term growth of capital. The fund invests at least 65% of its total assets in marketable equity securities of domestic and foreign issuers. The fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in securities exchangeable for or convertible into marketable equity securities of foreign and domestic issuers. The fund may also invest up to 35% of its total assets in high-grade short-term securities and in debt securities, including U.S. government obligations, investment grade corporate bonds or taxable municipal securities, whether denominated in U.S. dollars or foreign currencies. Dividends and capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
