Fund Description

Alliance Global Strategic Income Trust, Class A was incepted in January 1996 and is managed by Alliance Capital Management. The objective of this fund is to provide high current monthly income and, secondarily, capital appreciation. The fund invests in fixed income securities of U.S. and non-U.S. companies, U.S. government and foreign government securities and supranational entities, including lower-rated securities. The fund's investment approach is to follow the major economic and credit trends throughout the world and direct the fund's strategic asset allocation accordingly. The fund pays dividends after the close of business on the twentieth day of each month or on the first business day. Capital gains are distributed annually.
