Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities guaranteed or sponsored by the U.S. government, its agencies and instrumentalities, including bonds and other debt securities, which may be represented by derivatives. It may also invest in mortgage-backed securities issued by federal agencies and instrumentalities that are not backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. The fund may invest in inflation-linked bonds issued by U.S. and non-U.S. governments, their agencies or instrumentalities, and corporations. It may use futures contracts and swaps. The adviser employs multiple portfolio managers overseeing segmented sleeves and buys and sells based on professional judgment of relative value and long-term opportunity.
