Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by normally investing at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in securities of companies economically tied to countries with emerging securities markets. It normally invests primarily in companies located in countries represented in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index (Emerging Market Countries) and will have exposure to at least five Emerging Market Countries, and may invest a substantial portion in China. It primarily invests in common stocks directly or via depositary receipts, and may also use preferred stocks, convertibles and warrants across any market cap. Security selection uses a proprietary quantitative return-forecasting model combining behavioral, intrinsic and valuation factors, integrated with a proprietary risk model and benchmark-relative constraints, with company-level vetting. The fund may use derivatives, foreign currency exchange contracts, and P-Notes or other equity-linked notes.
