Fund Description

The fund invests primarily in equity securities of a limited number of large, carefully selected, high-quality U.S. companies chosen for growth potential across market sectors, emphasizing large, seasoned companies. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of net assets in common stocks of large-capitalization companies, generally with market capitalizations of at least $5 billion at purchase. It typically emphasizes U.S. issuers but may invest in foreign securities. Sector allocations are guided by fundamental research and may shift as trends evolve. It may invest in ETFs and use derivatives such as options, futures, forwards, and swaps, which may be used, for example, to adjust exposure to individual securities or markets, to earn extra income, or to help protect all or a portion of the portfolio from a decline in value, sometimes within certain ranges.
