Fund Description

The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of issuers in the Asia Pacific region (excluding Japanese companies) and in derivatives and other instruments with similar economic characteristics. It invests primarily in common and preferred stock and depositary receipts, including China-A shares. The fund targets issuers with potential for earnings or revenue growth and may invest across all market capitalizations, including significant exposure to small- and mid-cap issuers. It may invest up to 100% in foreign and emerging market securities. The strategy emphasizes an "EQV" profile-Earnings, Quality and Valuation-using fundamental research supported by quantitative analysis, portfolio construction and risk management, with bottom-up security selection.
