Fund Description

The fund was incepted in August 1997 and is managed by Diamond Hill Capital Management, Inc. The fund seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of bank, thrifts, specialty leading institutions, insurance companies and other financial companies. The fund generally pursues it objective by investing in 25-40 common stocks from the financial services sector that the fund's adviser believes are undervalued. Dividends and capital gains, if any, are paid annually.
