Fund Description

The fund, under normal market conditions, invests at least 80% of its net assets plus borrowings in equity securities of U.S. and non-U.S. technology companies of all market capitalizations, selected for rapid and sustainable growth potential from the development, advancement and use of technology; derivatives providing such exposure may count toward this policy. Technology companies may include software, IT consulting and services, interactive home entertainment, interactive media and services, networking and communications equipment, semiconductors, and related areas; it may invest in developed and emerging markets. It primarily invests in common stock, and may also use preferred, convertibles, Rule 144A securities and IPOs. It may use options, futures, swaps, options on a currency or a basket of currencies and forward foreign currency exchange contracts for exposure, risk management or to enhance returns, which may involve leverage.
