Fund Description
The fund invests primarily in non-investment grade bonds with maturities of ten years or less, allocating at least 80% of its net assets in high yield investments and similar financial instruments. These investments encompass domestic and foreign bonds, convertible debt, mezzanine investments, collateralized debt obligations, bank loans, mortgage-backed, and asset-backed securities, typically rated BB or lower by major rating agencies. The fund may invest up to 30% in non-dollar denominated bonds and can utilize derivatives for hedging or enhancing returns. Additionally, it is permitted to invest in distressed securities and may engage in active trading strategies to meet its investment objectives.
