Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities and, under normal market conditions, invests at least 40% of assets outside the United States (or at least 30% if conditions are not favorable) and holds issuers located in at least three countries, including emerging markets. It generally targets mid- and large-cap companies (over $2 billion at purchase) viewed as industry or country leaders with sustainable business advantages and strong sustainability risk management. Holdings may include stocks, equity-equivalent securities, ADRs/GDRs, ETFs, other funds, convertibles, Rule 144A, REITs, and U.S. government securities. It may use derivatives for investment purposes consistent with its objective, to mitigate or hedge risks, or for the temporary investment of cash balances, and may take temporary defensive positions in cash and prime quality cash equivalents.
