Fund Description

The fund invests at least 90% of its assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in bonds comprising the Bloomberg U.S. Intermediate Credit Index and seeks to correlate at least 95% with the index's total return before fees and expenses in rising and falling markets. It primarily holds U.S. dollar-denominated, fixed-rate, taxable, investment-grade corporate and government-related debt with maturities greater than one year and less than ten years, generally targeting a dollar-weighted average maturity of three to ten years. It uses sampling, may rebalance with index changes, and may use derivatives, securities lending, and high-quality money market instruments to manage liquidity or as substitutes for index positions.
