Fund Description
Incepted in December 1996, the fund is managed by BlackRock Advisors. The fund seeks capital appreciation. Current income is the secondary objective. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities issued by U.S. mid-capitalization value companies (market capitalization between $1.5 billion and $15 billion). The fund team uses fundamental analysis to examine each company for financial strength before deciding to purchase the stock. The fund offers dividends on a quarterly basis and capital gains annually.
