Fund Description
The fund was incepted in August 1993 and is managed by UBS Global Asset Management, Inc. The fund seeks to maximize total return, consisting of capital appreciation and current income by investing primarily in the equity securities of non-U.S. issuers. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities. Investments in equity securities include dividend-paying securities, common stock and preferred stock of issuers located throughout the world. The fund invests in stocks of companies of any size. The fund distributes its dividends annually. Capital gains, if any, are distributed in December.
