Fund Description

The fund invests primarily in equity securities of U.S. small-cap companies, including common and preferred stocks, warrants, and rights. Under normal market conditions, it invests at least 80% of net assets (measured at time of purchase) in companies with market capitalizations of $7.5 billion or less at purchase. It may invest up to 10% of total assets in corporate fixed-income securities and up to 10% in non-U.S. companies, with the combined total not exceeding 15%. It may hold cash or short-term equivalents and may concentrate more than 20% in a sector.
