Fund Description
The fund was incepted in October 1997 and is managed by BAMCO. The fund seeks capital appreciation through investments primarily in securities of small companies. The fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities of smaller companies based on the market size of the investment at the time of purchase. The fund may invest up to 15% of its net assets in securities that are illiquid. The fund may also invest up to 10% of its net assets in foreign denominated form (Global Depository Receipts or European Depository Receipts). The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually.
