Fund Description

The fund uses a passive indexing approach seeking to track, as closely as possible, the Calvert Global Energy Research Index. It concentrates in the sustainable energy solutions industry and, under an 80% policy, normally invests at least 80% of net assets (including borrowings) in equity securities of U.S. and non-U.S. companies whose main business is, or that are significantly involved in, sustainable energy solutions. It invests primarily in common stocks across market capitalizations and may have more small- and mid-cap exposure. It may use ADRs/GDRs, foreign currency transactions (including forwards) to support index tracking, and securities lending.
