Fund Description

The fund was incepted in October1991 is managed by Columbia Management Advisors, Inc. ('CMA'). The fund seeks high total return. The fund invests 35% to 65% of its total net assets in stocks and 35% to 65% of its assets in debt securities. The fund's stocks are primarily those of large-cap, well-established companies. The fund's debt securities have intermediate- to long-term maturities and they are primarily rated investment-grade by a securities rating agency, or their unrated equivalents. The fund declares and pays its dividends quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
