Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in stocks, primarily common stocks, of mid-cap issuers with market capitalizations within the range of companies in the Russell Midcap Growth Index at the time of investment. If a holding moves outside that range, the fund may, but is not required to, sell it. Up to 20% of net assets may be invested in small-cap issuers. Using predominantly quantitative analysis, with some fundamental analysis depending on market conditions, it focuses on companies with historically low price volatility and may invest significantly in technology sectors. Shareholders receive at least 60 days' notice before changes to the 80% policy.
