Fund Description
The fund was incepted in November 1990 and is managed by Credit Suisse Asset Management. The fund seeks to maximize total investment return consistent with prudent investment management, consisting of a combination of interest income, currency gains and capital appreciation. The fund invests in U.S. and foreign fixed-income securities denominated in various currencies. The fund favors investment-grade securities, but may diversify credit quality in pursuit of its goal. The fund investment decisions are based on fundamental market factors, currency trends and credit quality. The fund distributes dividends quarterly and capital gains annually, in December.
