Fund Description
The fund was incepted in February 2000 and is managed by Credit Suisse Asset Management. The fund seeks high current income and secondarily, capital appreciation by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of high yield and high risk fixed income securities (junk bonds). The junk bonds include convertible and non-convertible debt securities and preferred stock. The fund may invest up to 30% of its assets in securities of non-U.S. issuers. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually, in December.
