Fund Description
The fund was incepted in October 1982 and is managed by Calvert Asset Management Company. The fund seeks to maximize income, to the extent consistent with prudent investment management and preservation of capital, through investment in bonds and other income producing securities. The fund uses an active strategy, seeking relative value to earn incremental income. The fund typically invests at least 65% of its assets in investment grade debt securities. Dividends are distributed monthly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed once a year.
