Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, including any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of large-capitalization companies, primarily common stocks and securities convertible into common stocks. It targets companies with market capitalizations in the range of those in the Russell 1000 Growth Index at the time of purchase. The fund focuses on common stocks the investment manager believes have long-term competitive advantages and the potential for sustainable, above-average revenue and earnings growth, and may at times emphasize one or more sectors, including information technology. It may invest up to 20% of total assets in foreign securities, directly or via depositary receipts.
