Fund Description
The fund was incepted in December 1975 and is managed by WM Advisors, Inc. The fund seeks to provide a high level of current income. The fund primarily invests most of its assets in debt and convertible debt securities, U.S. Government securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, preferred stocks and convertible preferred stocks. The fund may also invest in securities denominated in foreign currencies and receive interest, dividends and sale proceeds in foreign currencies. The fund may invest up to 35% of its assets in lower-rated fixed-income securities called 'junk bonds.'' The fund declares dividends daily and pays it monthly. Capital gains are declared annually.
