Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in below investment grade bonds and bank loans (high yield or junk) rated Ba1 or lower by Moody's and BB+ or lower by S&P Global. If only one agency rates an instrument, that rating applies; if ratings differ, the highest is used; if unrated, those selecting the investment determine its quality. It also invests in investment grade bank loans (senior floating rate interests) and securities of foreign issuers. Under normal circumstances, the fund maintains an average portfolio duration that is within ??20% of the duration of the Bloomberg U.S. Corporate High Yield 2% Issuer Capped Index, and it is not managed to a particular maturity.
