Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by allocating assets among various asset managers employing distinct investment styles focused on bonds and other debt instruments. Managed by Columbia Management and its subadvisers, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in a diverse range of debt securities, including those issued by the U.S. government and corporations, as well as mortgage- and asset-backed securities. It may also invest up to 20% in high-yield instruments. The fund has flexibility in maturity and duration, and it can invest up to 25% in foreign assets, potentially using derivatives for various strategies, including hedging and enhancing returns. Additionally, it may include investments in ETFs and cash equivalents.
