Fund Description

The fund seeks to maximize total returns by investing in U.S. and foreign debt securities maturing in three years or less from settlement, with at least 80% of net assets in fixed income securities maturing within two years and a weighted average effective maturity not exceeding two years. It may invest in obligations issued or guaranteed by U.S. and foreign governments and agencies, corporate and bank debt, commercial paper, repurchase agreements, money market funds, certain U.S. dollar-denominated non-U.S.-traded securities, and supranational obligations, generally investment grade at purchase. The fund intends to invest its assets to gain exposure to at least three different countries, including the United States, and the Advisor expects the fund will primarily invest in obligations of issuers in developed countries. The adviser manages country and currency composition and may use forward contracts, futures, and options, and may lend securities.
