Fund Description

The fund is a fund of funds that generally allocates assets among other funds managed by Dimensional Fund Advisors LP, though it may also invest directly in securities and derivatives. The fund allocates its assets to underlying funds that invest in equity and fixed income securities and represents a variety of different asset classes. It targets about 60% equity (40%-80%) and 40% fixed income (20%-60%), seeking broad diversification across companies, sectors, and countries, with exposure to at least three countries including the U.S. The advisor may adjust allocations, use futures, options, currency transactions, credit default swaps, short positions, and securities lending.
