Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in stocks of companies in the natural resources and natural resources related sectors, including firms that own or develop natural resources or supply related goods, technology and services. It invests in growth and value stocks and typically maintains exposure to major natural resources sectors. The sub-adviser uses fundamental research and management contact to seek companies with strong sector positions, sustained achievement records and strong financial condition. It may invest across market caps and in foreign and emerging markets securities without limitation, and typically does not intend to invest more than 5% of net assets in any one company. Stocks may be sold when the original rationale no longer applies, fundamentals deteriorate, relative performance is poor, or the stock is fully valued, or to secure gains, limit losses, or redeploy assets.
