Fund Description

The fund uses a growth style of investing in equity securities, including common stocks and other equity securities. Under normal market conditions, it invests at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of U.S. small- and mid-cap companies, generally those within the market-cap range of the Russell 2500 Growth Index at purchase, without float adjustment; holdings may be retained if they later fall outside this definition. It may invest up to 20% in non-U.S. companies trading in the U.S. (such as ADRs) or in companies above that range, and may invest in firms with limited or no operating histories. It has no sector focus and trades frequently.
