The fund was incepted in September 1935 and is managed by Evergreen Investment Management Company. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of large companies across a wide range of sectors and industries both in the U.S. and abroad. The fund is suitable for those investors who seeks long-term maximum growth of capital, broad portfolio diversification and a primarily growth oriented investment alternative.
