Fund Description
The fund was incepted in April 1987 and is managed by Evergreen Investment Management Company. The fund seeks high current income from interest on debt securities and secondarily, considers potential for growth of capital in selecting securities. The fund invests primarily in both investment grade and below investment grade corporate debt securities, as well as domestic and foreign government obligations. The fund is suitable for those investors who seek a diversification across a variety of fixed income asset classes. The fund offers dividends monthly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
