Fund Description
Incepted in January 1978, this fund is managed by Evergreen Investment Management Company. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term capital growth and protection of purchasing power of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of companies that are engaged in, or which receive at least 50% of their revenue from other companies engaged in exploration, mining, processing or dealing in gold or other precious metals and minerals. The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually.
