Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in a combination of debt securities and income-producing equity securities, including through derivatives that provide exposure to these investments or related market risk factors. It invests in equity and debt securities, including defaulted securities, with an emphasis on lower-quality, less than investment-grade debt (high yield or junk bonds), and may invest in companies in troubled or uncertain financial condition. Investments may include domestic and foreign issuers. Security selection is based on fundamental analysis of each issuer's financial condition, industry position, and market and economic conditions.
